So I’ve been “selling” my 02 540i touring for a few months now. I’ve had 2 real bites but both of them found lower mileage or closer to what they really wanted 540i tourings and passed. This seems to be one of those cars that is not worth a lot unless someone really wants one. Listing at 4k for a pretty good condition (but 180k mi) and I get almost no interest.

Until today - somebody is very very interested in trading an 03 330ci 5sp. WOULD YOU DO IT

(I think I will - this is like a 3rd/4th car for us)

You should just manual swap the touring instead.

Pics of your E39? 02 Should be the last of the E39s, right? It’s weird if you can’t sell a clean E39, they really have their fanbase.

Yeah I was surprised. It needs some suspension work, but motor is in top shape, professionally done (including the dreaded chain guides). Pretty optioned, etc. 03 was the last year, the buyers I mentioned both found msports (only year they made that package on wagons)

I don’t really need to sell it and its nice having a spare family car, so that is actually one of my other plans haha. Throw a supercharger kit on it and that would be fun. 2 fast wagons...
